Introducing
our new series of 2 flute,
solid carbide, Toroid
style end mills. Designed
primarily for the Die/Mold
industry, these tools are
capable of machining
hardened tool steels up to
62 HRc. The new TM Series
design uses distinctive
carbide grades, high
accuracy geometries, and
application specific
coatings to achieve
phenomenal cutting speeds
for roughing and finishing
of 3-D die/mold cavities.
Toroid style tools are used
for helical boring and
allow for wider step-overs
on flat floors. Recent
tests performed with these
tools have shown reduction
in total process time of up
to 500%. These new end
mills are available in both
standard and metric sizes.
